Itseems only recently we were asking a question of "Why does no one play Clinkz?" and we are sorry. In an attempt to make the hero more viable in the professional scene, Valve has created one of the most powerful pubstompers in the game, who is currently terrorizing matches of all skill levels. Get ahead in lane. Clinkz is not a
Cashberry Lừa Đảo. Gameplay[] Playstyle Clinkz is a great ranged carry with high offensive burst damage. Though frail and easy to kill, Skeleton Walk grants Clinkz stealth and haste to escape and re-position himself. This skill is also what makes Clinkz such an incredible ganker. His Searing Arrows provide huge bonus damage, greatly injuring enemies in conjunction with Death Pact. Despite his high damage, Clinkz has no disabling abilities, and has difficulty killing enemies once they move out of range. Pros Cons Invisible ganker. High attack damage. High farm speed. High movement speed, which makes him somewhat resistant to Dust of Appearance's slow. Good escape ability. Can steal creep abilities. Can single handedly take map control by pushing and destroying towers quickly. Bad attack animation. Low damage without Searing Arrows in the early game, which cost mana to use. Quite mana intensive. Extremely fragile. No innate disables. Quite item dependent. Quite mediocre base stats and stat growth. Countered by True Sight. Carry[] Searing Arrows helps Clinkz last hit during the early game, compensating for his slow attack animation and pathetic base damage. Skeleton Walk serves as an escape ability in the early game. One level is enough to keep yourself out of enemy vision most of the time. Death Pact's power increases significantly per level, and is Clinkz's main source of damage, so level 6, 12 and 18 are important milestones for Clinkz. Ability Builds[] Carry Clinkz 1234567891011121314151617182025 Talents[] Tips & Tactics[] General[] Abilities[] Burning Barrage[] Searing Arrows[] Skeleton Walk[] One point of Skeleton Walk is enough to ensure Clinkz' safety, however, constantly check the enemy for Dust of Appearance or Sentry Wards Use Skeleton Walk to disjoint projectiles. Use Skeleton Walk to escape ganks. Use Skeleton Walk a good amount of time before you expect to ambush an enemy, or appear in a fight. This triggers the cooldown early, therefore allowing you it again soon after, either for a quick escape or to chase down any survivors. Use Skeleton Walk before crossing commonly warded spots, such as the river, to avoid being seen coming. Avoid non-warded highgrounds if you plan to gank invisibly, as the enemy may have Sentries up the cliff. Use Skeleton Walk to chase down heroes, move between lanes, and escape from failed ganks/teamfights. With Aghanim's Shard, it creates 2 burning army skeletons, which each do 30% of your attack damage, and combined, do 60%. This damage combined with Burning Barrage and a a few items like Orchid Malevolence and Gleipnir is often enough to outright kill most supports, and can still do significant amounts of damage to carries, or force them to use Black King Bar. Death Pact[] Burning Army[] Burning Army benefits from bonus attack range, base damage, talents, and Searing Arrows. Burning Army does incredible damage, as it has 30% of Clinkz' attack damage. This means that having 4 of them already surpasses Clinkz' attack damage. Use Burning Army at the center of a fight or along the path of where enemy heroes are using to escape. Use it to disable enemy Blink Daggers. Items[] Starting items Early game Mid game Late game Situational items Butterfly provides a massive agility and attack speed bonus as well as evasion. Diffusal Blade's mana break allows Clinkz to quickly burn his target's mana while also dealing bonus damage. The active ability also grants Clinkz a slow to keep targets within range of Burning Army. Daedalus's critical multiplier massively increases Clinkz's damage output. Blink Dagger paired up with Scythe of Vyse or Nullifier may help you catch some of the most elusive heroes in the game. Consider it if your innate mobililty isn't enough. Scythe of Vyse is comparable to Orchid Malevolence; it offers less damage output but provides a stronger disable. Solar Crest enables Clinkz to shred through the enemy's armor, and to better protect himself once the active has expired. Dragon Lance helps keep enemies within range of Burning Army. It also upgrades into Hurricane Pike for some mobility and extra attributes. Eye of Skadi stacks with Searing Arrows, which allows you to chase down heroes while improving all your attributes. Linken's Sphere can enable you to roam more aggressively without fear, and gives good mana regeneration. Moon Shard will greatly increase Clinkz's raw damage output, which is useful if you're only looking to take down enemy buildings. Nullifier shuts down Glimmers, Force staffs etc., grants bonus damage, and can heavily help you kill a hero even when his supports are there to help them. Satanic grants enormous Lifesteal that synergizes nicely with Clinkz's immense damage output, giving him an edge in manfights. Aghanim's Scepter unlocks Burning Army, multiplying Clinkz's damage output in larger battles and letting him set up large hazard zones. Divine Rapier is your only option in some games, when other items aren't enough. It should be picked up for incredible damage, preferrably after a Roshan kill. Paired up with Burning Army and Multishot it can shred both enemy supports and cores. However, it is a risky investment.
Clinkz, the Bone Fletcher, is a ranged agility-oriented Dota 2 hero usually played as a carry. His kit allows him to gank unaware enemies with his stealth, making him a constant threat throughout the entire game. Lower-skilled enemies who don’t pay attention to the map are especially affected the most by this playstyle. He is an early-game monster due to his Searing Arrows, giving you the opportunity to close out games early on if you get ahead. Clinkz is one of the best games to solo carry games in Dota 2. As with all Dota 2 heroes, specific items are going to be more useful depending on the situation. But there are certain items that are effective on Clinkz in all games and will ensure the best possible chances of winning. Here’s the best build for Clinkz in Dota 2. Hero skills Screengrab via Maxing Searing Arrows W is prioritized first to ensure you have a lot of damage early on even without items. The attack counts as spell damage so it’s a good tool against champions with a lot of base armor since it will completely ignore it. Strafe Q is maxed second for the attack-speed buff and 100-percent evasion on a lower cooldown. By having it up more often, you can avoid death scenarios and escape swiftly from the thrill of battle. Skeleton Walk E is maxed last since the impact of leveling it up won’t change a lot. Your goal is to usually go in while being invisible, therefore the reduced cooldown won’t change your playstyle by much. As for talents, at level 10 you want to get the “Burning Army Skeleton” when you exit Skeleton Walk, while at level 15 get the +25 Searing Arrow damage. These bonuses will make you a huge threat throughout the entire duration of the game. Early-game items Screengrab via Phase Boots are your core item to ensure that you move as swiftly as possible between the lanes and the jungle. You want to rush them, while also acquiring Ring of Aquila and Magic Wand for some sustain. Since you’ll be starting with Iron Branches and Slippers of Agility, converting them to the items above shouldn’t need a lot of time spent farming from you since the combination cost is cheap. Core items Screengrab via This is the core build you want to go for every game. Since you will have a lot of attack speed, Maelstrom will help you do additional magic damage. When combined with Searing Arrows, you will do a lot of mixed damage to opponents. Dragon Lance is overall a great item since it gives you needed stats such as strength, agility, and attack range. The attack range is heavily underrated and can help you do damage without exposing yourself to risk. Desolator is a great item to ignore enemy heroes’ armor. It reduces the armor while giving you 60 damage as well. It’s build path is also great, giving you plenty of time to farm up for the item without having to sit on gold in your inventory. Late-game items Screengrab via The ideal late-game build features Butterfly and Black King Bar to ensure you become as deadly as possible. Black King Bar is a requirement to ensure that you survive the crowd-control without being burst down in mere seconds since you’ll be lacking in defensive stats, while Butterfly is the best agility-oriented item in the game. The stats granted by it are perfect for a ranged carry, especially Evasion which helps you avoid deadly attacks from enemies. Mjollnir is upgraded from Maelstrom once you have enough gold to do even more damage. While you won’t have the passive from Maelstrom anymore, you will have a great active effect allowing you to do more damage overall. Maelstrom is also great against champions with illusions. Its effect can get rid of illusions and reveal the real champion for you to take down. Satanic is your end-game item to ensure that you don’t die in skirmishes. The lifesteal granted by it allows you to get to full health from 10 percent in the span of a couple of seconds, giving you the opportunity to turn the tides of battle in your favor. Contents 1 Bad against... Others Items 2 Good against... Others 3 Works well with... Others Bad against...[] Zeus can reveal Clinkz with Lightning Bolt. He is vulnerable to Zeus's magical nukes, due to his low health pool. Others[] Items[] Dust of Appearance, Gem of True Sight and Sentry Wards are very effective against Clinkz's invisibility, though he still has high movement speed while invisible. Blade Mail can deal huge damage to Clinkz and it has no way to heal himself in a fight or protect against this damage with Black King Bar. Due to his high attack speed and range, Clinkz can have 3-4 attack projectiles flying at once, which are easy to reflect with Blade Mail. If Clinkz starts to build Orchid Malevolence or Scythe of Vyse as a source of reliable disable Linken's Sphere can blocks these and allows his target to escape. Lotus Orb or Manta Style to dispel them. All of Clinkz's damage comes from his attacks. If an enemy can build high amounts of armor, such as Assault Cuirass, Clinkz becomes much less of a threat to them. Special mention goes to Shiva's Guard which also slows Clinkz's attack speed. After emerging from invisibility, items such as Force Staff and Hurricane Pike can be used to create distance between Clinkz and his target, preventing Clinkz from dealing damage. Natural counters to physical burst, including items that provide armor, Ghost Scepter or Ethereal Blade prove useful against Clinkz. Eul's Scepter of Divinity and Heaven's Halberd, while useful to mitigate Clinkz's attack output, cannot entirely protect your team from his Skeleton Archer. Good against...[] Ember Spirit's Flame Guard provides no protection against Clinkz's physical damage output. Ember Spirit's low armor and health make him easy to kill quickly if a teammate can hold him down. If Clinkz has farmed an item that can disable, he can sneak up to and hunt down Ember Spirit while he farms or split pushes alone. Nature's Prophet is often by himself. Clinkz can use invisibility to hunt him down and kill him, although a Quelling Blade may be needed to cut through his Sprout. Orchid Malevolence may also be needed if 3-4 seconds are not enough time to kill him, as he can teleport away. Clinkz can match Nature's Prophet's ability to split push. Others[] Works well with...[] Her Frost Arrows also slows enemies that aid Clinkz to attack the target more easily. She also has a strong silence, allowing Clinkz to save up his Orchid's ability. In the laning phase, Clinkz can go invisible and stand next to enemies so that Purification's damage hits them for sure, setting up a kill this way. Degen Aura's strong slow allows Clinkz to get more attacks off on enemies. Others[] Community content is available under CC BY-NC-SA unless otherwise noted.
Clink Goes My Bones mnoi April 27, 2013 Introduction Clinkz is a gank oriented carry that has a high burst dps with his first 2 skills. Although he is very elusive due to the movement speed granted by wind walk, he is easily bursted down due to his low hp. Clinkz is a powerhouse mid game once he gets his orchid as he is able to kill many of the nukers that annoyed him in the early game; however, he falls of late game compared to a true hard carry like Faceless Void, Anti-Mage, and Phantom Lancer who are able to push faster than him. Pros and Cons Skills Strafe- Provides a large boost to your attack speed 130%. Usually you don't skill this early due to mana issues with using Searing Arrows to last hit. Although you can use this skill to gank, its most effective when used with Searing Arrows to siege towers. Not factoring agility or other attack speed bonuses, your time per attack increases from seconds to seconds. Searing Arrows- Due to its low cost per damage ratio, max this skill first. Using 8 mana for 50 bonus physical damage is insane. Early game, most heroes have low armor so this is more impactful than a magic nuke. Does not stack with most orbs except Eye of Skadi. Does not affect Ghost Scepter but affects structures and siege creeps. Wind Walk- Provides high mobility and invisibility. Two points are enough to keep up with heroes that use Phase Boots. Once you get 4 points, its almost as if you are perma hasted. Keep in mind that invisibility does not mean invulnerability. Death Pact- Makes your tanky, gives you bonus damage and instantly kills creep for easy money. You can also deny your own creep to prevent your enemy from gaining any xp from that creep similar to Sacrifice and Demonic Conversion; however you will not gain any xp or gold by doing Usually you don't get early stat levels on clinz unless in certain matchups such as a creep skiping Dark Seer or Lone Druid. Items Side Lanes Standard Starting Items Cost 524 gold This build is designed for solving early mana issues with the help of an early Ring of Basilius. This can be latter disassembled into Tranquil Boots for some health regen. The Sage's Mask can be used for an Oblivion Staff Core <20 minutes Cost 5541 gold There is a lot of regen to help you stay out of the fountain. If you are confident in your sustainability, disassemble the Tranquil Boots and buy Power Treads. You can also get a Magic Wand but it usually just delays other items. Items Mid Lane Solo-Mid Starting Items Cost 412 gold This build build saves 191 gold for a fast Bottle. You should have it in about 10 last hits or by the 2 minute mark. In the rare case that you face a Zeus or Batrider, immediately use the courier to bring yourself a magic stick. Core <25 minutes Cost 7244 gold This build is significantly more expensive than the sideline build, but you get more time and money if you find kills. Luxury Items Explained Allies and Foes The Allies Clinkz is a solo oriented hero and does not have much of a team presence. Heroes that help him are those that provide him with early sustainability and combo with him when he roams. Keep in mind, most heroes do not have his high Sustenance The Lockdown & Burst The Foes Clickz is a very elusive hero that needs coordination from the enemy team to bring down due to your invisibility and speed. To defeat him you need detection, lockdown, and burst Detection The Lockdown Doom Bringer The Burst General Tips Notes & Updates Thanks for reading my guide, this is the second one I created.
